VOICE-ETC by Kristy Suttner
We are happy for warmer weather and warmer voices this Spring, and welcome on board 7 brand new voice artists!
We are very proud of a host of our artists who are voicing Zulu to English translations of Shaka ILembe – Abongile Baleni, Monde Msutwana and Oliver-Che Naidu to name a few. They have worked long hours with great results!
And the piece de resistance, we would also like to give a big shout out to Francis Manga, our local French expert, who spent a whopping 8 hours straight in studio last week dubbing into French for the African continent, with excellent feedback from the client.
Well done voice artists!
Remember, we are looking to lock down the books for a while in the next few months so it is vital to get the right voices in. If you are one of those interested, please remember that Voice is a whole different beast to the rest of our industry. Do you research, check out our page and ask questions of what is entailed. Also watch this space for details on accent workshops coming up soon. Happy warmer months, all!

Lights, Camera, Connection: Filming for Corporate Success
Hello, dear readers!
In the world of corporate communications, there’s one tool that has become increasingly indispensable: video. Whether it’s for internal training, external marketing, or simply sharing the latest updates, the power of video cannot be underestimated. Today, we’re diving into the exciting world of corporate filming, a topic that might not be my forte, but one that is undeniably important.
The Power of Visual Storytelling
In the age of digital transformation, businesses are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to connect with their audiences. One of the most effective methods is through visual storytelling, and that’s where corporate filming comes into play. Videos offer a dynamic and engaging medium to convey a message, whether it’s the launch of a new product or the sharing of corporate values.
A Seamless Production Process
Now, you might wonder what goes into creating these compelling corporate videos. Well, from what I’ve learned, it’s all about teamwork and meticulous planning. The production pro-cess typically involves brainstorming ideas, scripting, casting, location scouting, shooting, and editing. Every detail matters, from the lighting and sound quality to the choice of music and graphics. It’s a carefully orchestrated symphony that results in a polished final product.
Bringing the Team Together
Corporate filming isn’t just about hiring a camera crew and pressing record. It’s about bring-ing the team together and aligning everyone with the vision. From executives delivering pow-erful messages to the creative minds behind the camera, each member plays a crucial role in the success of the project. Effective communication and collaboration are key to ensuring that the final video reflects the company’s values and goals.
Showcasing Authenticity
In today’s corporate landscape, authenticity is highly valued. Audiences want to see the hu-man side of businesses, and video provides the perfect platform for this. By showcasing real employees, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses, and telling authentic stories, corporate videos can build trust and foster a deeper connection with stakeholders.
Measuring Impact
One of the advantages of the digital age is the ability to measure the impact of your efforts. Corporate filming is no exception. Companies can track the performance of their videos through metrics like views, engagement, and conversion rates. This data-driven approach allows for continuous improvement and optimisation of future video projects.
The Road Ahead
As technology continues to evolve, so does the world of corporate filming. Virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive videos are just a few of the exciting developments on the horizon. These innovations promise to take corporate communication to new heights, offer-ing even more immersive and engaging experiences for audiences.
In conclusion, while corporate filming might not be my area of expertise, it’s clear that this medium has a profound impact on how businesses communicate with their audiences. In an increasingly visual and digital world, mastering the art of corporate video production is not just a valuable skill but a necessity for staying relevant and connecting with stakeholders. So, lights, camera, action—it’s time for businesses to shine on the screen!
Until next time, happy filming!

THEATREby Katie Groves
Happy October! Wishing you a fruitful and sunshine filled month! On the theatre end of things, we are exceptionally busy, lots of auditions, lots of callbacks, and lots of confirma-tions – whoop whoop!
Attached are just some of the posters of upcoming shows we have artists in, and I am filled with an immense sense of pride, that walking through Montecasino and the Teatro, I can point to each poster advertising new shows and say “We have someone on there.”
I would like to thank all our theatre artists for constantly and consistently working on their craft, the immeasurable growth that I have seen is tribute to the hard work and dedication you have all put in! I am because you are, the theatre division would not be thriving if you were not feeding it as artists.
The stageworx open dance classes will be back in full swing from the 9th of October, looking forward to seeing more of you there.
As always, please reach out if you would like to join the division, or get contacts regarding singing, or dancing training, as you can always improve!
Sending love and light,
Katie
LAST THOUGHT by sEAN MUNDAY
October has been traditionally seen as a month of wealth, prosperity, peace and fertility as it is the month when farmers would harvest their crops. As we go into the last few months of the year, take a moment to reflect on the work you’ve put in this year and how it has lead you to where you are now. The actions you do today will shape the rest of your life. So take every opportunity to invest in your craft today so that one day you can look back and be grateful for the work you’ve put in.
Keep working hard and pushing yourself to be the best version of you you can be.
Wishing you all the best,
Sean
