TALENT-ETC

By Jennis Williamson

We launched an internal initiative during September called THE TRAINING HUB™. This platform allows monthly assignments for our actors from monologues, acting scenes, voice over and accent assignments and much more. Knowledge is power and we are grateful for this opportunity to help each and single of our actors grow and polish their crafts. Together we are serving the entertainment industry with passion and the love for what we do.

The KZN workshop was a great success, and I am astonished with the talent we have signed there. KZN sure is putting itself on the map when it comes to talent.

TETC- KZN

by Fundi Zwane & Justin Nanak

KZN agents Justin and Fundi were invited to SA TRAVEL & TOURISM summit which has an impact on the filming landscape of KZN and where there are opportunities to showcase ourselves to the world.

The Arts & Entertainment industry form an integral part of building brand South Africa and putting it on the global stage.

We are excited that international gates are opening allowing our artists & crew to be able to start taking up international gigs.

We emphasise the importance of our Talent ETC family on various sets and productions to please stay safe and take good care as a healthy, happy actor is an asset.

We also hosted an informative workshop and look forward to how it will empower our Artists and crew.

CREW-ETC

By Frankie Opperman

Into the final quarter of the year, we go and we’re super ready for it. The crew division is jumping onboard several new and exciting projects on the horizon with our roster of talented freelancers ever expanding. As the year has moved on, there is a sense that the industry is getting back to ‘normal’. Let us al rejoice and hope the trend continues. So many lives have been disrupted in 2020 and 2021.

In other news, Crew-Etc is on the lookout for talented production and post production specialists. Any inquiries can be sent to crew@talent-etc.co.za

VOICE-ETC

By Kristy Suttner

Voice Etc has been a hive of activity this month with our artists fulfilling brief after brief, self-tape after self-tape! We have had three fantastic animated series on the cards as well as a variety of campaigns and commercials, busy times indeed! Well done to our marvellous artists who continue to hone their craft and deliver, time after time.

We also have a whole new group of signed voice artists hitting the studio this week, to be loaded next month – watch this space to see some of our incredible new talent.

If you would like to be considered for our Voice Division, please contact voice@talent-etc.co.za. We are particularly looking for multilingual artists who can speak different African languages.

SOCIAL-ETC

By Melissa Swart

It is October, OMG, and we are excited for the month that lies ahead!

Social Media has been a little quiet in terms of campaigns, but do not be discouraged, we are working hard on partnerships with the right brands and as we are moving into the summer season, new campaigns will be launching soon.

We want to remind every influencer to send any queries our way so that we can really make sure we negotiate the best possible deal for you and also keep you safe from those who want to take chances. Your success is our success and you deserve the best!

We hope you have wonderful Month!

FINAL THOUGHT

By Jennis Williamson

Life will become much easier when we will finally understand which hands to shake and which ones to hold.

Be thankful and proud of the struggles you had in your life. They shaped you in the person you are today. They’ll light your life in the darkness.
You’re happy in your life if you’re content. Just believe in yourself and dream big. Do not give up on your dreams.

QUOTE FOR THE MONTH

By Shalock Rass

Stand firm. Their views and opinions of you are not God's plan, don't even feel shaken just allow them to throw shade.
