Maurice Mncedisi Ncedani did a one year vocational training in Performing Arts in New Africa Theatre in 1998. The same year he played a role as bra Jerry on a play called: The Good Heart written by Ian Bruce and directed by Inna Bruce. After the one year training Maurice was given a position in Plettenberg Bay at Simunye Community Centre to manage community arts and this gave him an opportunity to introduce youth to acting. Maurice wrote and directed the following plays:I am not guilty,Sithembe Bani,Gugu's Journey to success and Igobondela. He played in a short film Ikasi written by Clyde Berning directed by Lika Berning,his role was Themba(father). The following and recent work on tv was: Vas Houding for KykNet and Silwer Skerm Fees. His character name was Gabriel,and a Domestic worker training dvd. He also do work with Lunchbox Theatre and has played in the following productions: A dog's Life,Khokho's suitcase,The Whale show,The last drop,The tree show and Ilifa. Maurice is a part time radio presenter at MC90.3 fm, a station based in Plett and does a show called Jazztrain on Sundays 18H00-21H00.
