Evan Williams is an emerging young actor who was cast as a Nazi soldier in The Sound of Music, played the role of Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, and has performed in a number of Stageworx productions at the Roodepoort Theatre and Barnyard Theatres. Evan trained with Gemma Donnelly at Stageworx School of Performing Arts and has a Diploma in Performing Arts from Trinity College in London. Wanting to gain some international experience, Evan completed a short course in acting at the London School of Dramatic Arts (LSDA) where he was invited into their diploma course. This charismatic youngster has also completed a number of local courses and workshops including a presenting course with Graeme Watkins and a voice over workshop with Dana Prophet. Evan represented South Africa in the Hip Hop category at the World Dance Champs in Germany in 2012 where his group was awarded the bronze medal in the integrated formations category. He also performed the Hip Hop Bronze medal routine at the Barnyard Theatre. He was cast as a Disney character for the MTN festival at Monte Casino, and also worked as a member of the Flashmob dance group at Monte Casino. TV work includes being cast as “Tristan” in SMD’s TV Commercial, Tristan’s Birthday.
