Ané is currently a learner at Hoërskool Eldoraigne. She has been a student of Estetika Drama School since 2006, when she was in grade 0. Her coach is Hydie Loots. Ané has since won numerous categories (including unprepared reading, public speaking, poetry, dramatized poetry, prose, dramatized prose, unprepared group work) at the Centurion Art Festival, Pierneef Eisteddfod, Pretoria Eisteddfod, Artisticulta and SATCH. She also formed part of Hoërskool Eldoraigne’s stage productions in 2014-2017. In 2015 she played the role of an autistic child in the school play. The production was 3rd at the Tshwane Art Festival. In 2016 she was awarded best supporting actress in the school production - she played an orphan. In 2017 she formed part of the ensemble in the school production and this production was selected to take part at the Aardklop “Tienertoneel” competition. Ané also takes Drama as a school subject and was awarded best drama student of Hoërskool Eldoraigne in 2014 & 2015. Acting is her passion. She also enjoys cross-country and public speaking. She has participated at national level (public speaking) in 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2017. Ané is a very friendly, warm and loyal person, with a great sense for adventure. She interacts and communicates easily with anyone.
