Valeska Muller is a natural-born performer, singer, songwriter, actress and vocal coach. Her goal is to make an international career by performing, writing and co-operating with professionals of all kinds of artistic fields. Valeska’s first big encounter with the entertainment industry was at 18 years old when she entered the national Afrikaans duet competition called Zing which aired on Kyk-Net and M-Net. She ended up in the top 7 nationally with her duet partner. At the age of 19 she was chosen to be the one of the four lead vocalists in the theatre production, Sexy and the City starring Rian Swanepoel, Dineo Ranaka and Mia Thomas. However, on press night Valeska was in a tragic accident. Still in the recovering process, Valeska completed her Arts Management Certificate and Stage Dance Certificate in 2004. She starred as the lead vocalist in various theatre productions such as: The highly acclaimed Richard Loring’s Girl Talk 2005 at The Sound Stage Theatre and Arts Cape Theatre; Sonsak Jolyt; Dance Mania; The Seven Wonders Show; The Awesome 80's show; The Lets Twist Again Show. Valeska’s TV acting performances include Katrien in Binnelanders; One Way on e-tv; Bessie Le Roux in Roer Jou Voete on SABC 3 and TV commercials for Vodacom and News café. As a freelance singer she performed since 2003 in varying occasions: weddings, conferences, festivals and shows. Festivals she performed at include: Aardklop, Innibos, KKNK, Aartappel Fees, and the Mulberry Festival. She featured on the New Dance Album EVOKE with DJ Zaxx. Valeska has also been in the studio, writing, recording and working hard on new material for her EP. She recently launched her first 2 singles, `NOT AGAIN’ and ‘KEEP UP’ on many music platforms including ITunes and Amazon. She wrote and performed the theme song for the Via TVs, ‘n Ster Vir My Bed’. She collaborated with DJ Roxxx and their hit song ‘LIGHTS IN MY HEART’ can be heard on all major radio stations. She’s the owner at Valeska Muller Vocal Academy (VMVA) where she coaches her students valuable lessons she learned from being in the entertainment industry for 17 years. Valeska also enjoys photography, salsa dancing, cooking, running and playing guitar in her free time.
