Tarryn first stepped on to the stage at the tender age of 10 when she portrayed the role of Sally Brown in JUK Productions; “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”. This ignited her passion for performing and she filled her childhood with youth productions, eisteddfods and school plays. In High School, Tarryn performed in numerous Tshwane Youth Theatre productions and was overjoyed to portray the roll of Belle in the 2011 production of Beauty and the Beast. She completed her Vocal Performance Grade 7 and Music Theory Grade 6 through Trinity College London. After matriculating with 8 distinctions, Tarryn went on to study Occupational Therapy at the University of Pretoria. During her studies, her passion for the arts continued. She attended Musical Theatre Workshops with Duane Alexander and Anton Luitingh where she refined her musical theatre skills. She took up tap dancing at Dance de Art and dedicated time to learning guitar and piano. In 2015, Tarryn portrayed the role of Lorina and the Caterpillar in Oak Youth Theatre’s production of Alice in Wonderland. She continued to broaden her skills when she qualified as a yoga instructor in 2016. She made a name for herself on the Health and Wellness scene and was selected as a brand ambassador for Boho Nation; Active and Lifestyle wear. Tarryn has become a regular singer on the local scene, by performing at markets, corporate events and private functions. Her love for the arts continues to grow and she is absolutely thrilled to share her talent with the entertainment industry.
