She’s quirky, fun and ambitious and absolutely loves telling stories. Sarah has loved drama since she quit ballet in Grade 1 and decided to take up theatre. During school and university she apeared in various productions, including The Importance of Being Earnest (2009), and The Glass Menagerie (2014). She wrote and directed, The Chocolate Duck (2013) at the University of Pretoria, where she graduated with her BA. After varsity, Sarah went on to study with some of South Africa’s greatest talents, including Fiona Ramsey, Craig Freimond and Sylvaine Strike – at the Indigo View Academy of Acting with Steven Feinstein. There she performed in Feinstein’s adaptation of The Maids (2015). Sarah has appeared in various TVC’s for Nedbank (2016), Chicken Licken (2017) and Hyundai (2018). She appeared on ETV’s Golddiggers as Sara (2017), and had a small role in Maseko Ties (2016). In 2018, Sarah directed The Pied Piper for the National Children’s Theatre. Sarah believes in staying fresh as an actress and is constantly working to improve her skills. She studies under Rajesh Gopie, and when she is not acting she is writing, directing and working on her imagination.
