Léchelle Lerm is an exciting artist in her 20’s. She considers herself to be versatile and hardworking. Léchelle obtained her BA Drama degree at the University of Pretoria where her theatre path has cross with Napo Masheane. Apart from the children’s theatre background that Léchelle has, she has been in several productions of Masheane that ran from the Market theatre, the South African State Theatre and the National Arts Festival. These productions are A New Song, Mama the Storm Is Outside and Streetlights With Lips. Recently Léchelle has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Broadway World Awards and the SA Theatre Magazine for her roles she portrayed in the theatre piece Porselein, directed by Quintin Wils. Although she doesn’t have much experience in camera work, she is very eager on gaining more experience in this field as she ran a course (Acting on Screen) that was presented by Lelia Etsebeth and Jacques Bessenger. Léchelle was recently seen on Reflections (eTV) where she show cased some of her original poetry. In the music industry Léchelle was part of The Stonehouse Project as a sing/songwriter where their music featured on several local music stations and international radio stations from London to Brazil. Furthermore she holds herself as a session backing vocalist for studio and live recording sessions. It is definitely clear to see that this artist is versatile and ready to take the industry by storm!
