Born in Johannesburg, South Africa the young Cazz always had her sights set on the entertainment industry. As a child Cazz would constantly put on shows involving acting and singing for anyone who would watch and would drag her cousins, step sister and step brothers along to perform with her, whether they liked it or not. At 15, Cazz successfully enrolled in a music academy called The Institute of Music Excellence (T.I.M.E) in Centurion. For the next 3 years she had to juggle high-school and the very demanding, yet exciting music academy, but never once did she dream of quitting for the easier school days. Within music alone, she had 13 music subjects, which included songwriting, music law, music history, theory and more. From then on Cazz went on to do everything in her power to create a successful music career for herself. She performed at The Nelson Mandela 21 Years of Freedom, at the FIFA 2010 fan fest at the age of 16 and then worked closely with Universal Music for two years after that. In Cazz’s final school year she found herself writing pop music that was a mixture of funk, soul and jazz, that ranged from playful to heartbreaking, and finally released her first single called ‘Tipsy’ a year later, which gained radio play all over the country, with the music video debuting on MTV. Cazz then went on to make her debut performance at Oppikoppi in August and White Mountain Festival in September in 2015. She released her 3rd single titled ‘Electricity’ with a music video in March, that debuted on 947 and 5fm. She is currently working on her debut album alongside other acting projects.
