Brenda is a talented, goal-driven and hard working young female driven to excel in whatever she does. She was attracted to the Arts at the age of 13 when she joined a Tafelkop Theatre Organisation in her village. She has never looked back ever since. After completing her Matric in 2004, she studied Speech and Drama at The Market Theatre Laboratory (2005-2006). In 2006 she was part of a student production, The very next breath which was performed at Grahamstown National Arts Festival and later that year she travelled to Sweden for a cultural exchange programme. In 2009 she played the role of Lindiwe on ShakeSpear’s stories Ugugu no Andile, as well as on Mthunzini dot com. Brenda fell in love with radio through voice-overs, which led her to studying Radio Production at Nemisa in 2011. She started venturing into Voice Overs and radio dramas in IsiNdebele and Sepedi. In 2011 she played the role of Faith Ngobese on ETV Scandal. In 2015 she had a cameo role on a feature film titled Sink. She currently works as a radio producer for an SABC radio station IKwekwezi FM which broadcasts in IsiNdebele. Brenda is a versatile actress and is eager to learn new things.
