Kashifa Sithole is a third year Theatre and Performance student at Wits university who started her Dramatic Arts aspirations in high school. In 2012, she enrolled at Playhouse Acting Studio, where she completed all seven senior levels with distinction. Her career kick started when she was signed by Talent Etc talent agency leading her to her first television role on Kyknet end Kie, starring in a short film titled ‘More as ons Groot is ‘in the second season of Ons Stories in 2015. She joined She.of the fire in 2016 as a performer and performed in their production ‘Made in Time’ since its conception in 2016. She later went on to represent Wits university at the National Arts Festival in 2017 in a production titled ‘Mmu.’ In 2018, she had the opportunity of working with Greg Homann on ‘In the Blood’ at the Market Theatre. She had once again represented Wits at the National Arts Festival but in the capacity of a director, winning the Standard Bank Award for Best Student Director in the student fringe for the play ‘Devil at a Dead End.
