She grew up in KwaZulu Natal, Durban in a township called Lamontville. She was never exposed to anything that had to do with Performing Arts, in primary school she participated in a little bit of Speech and Drama which helped her with her confidence.
She first fell in love with Television in 2006 when she was doing Grade 8 in High School, that's when she did her first TV Ad for McCain Vegetables. Then her second one in 2007 for Boxer Super Store. Though in High School she did not take Drama as a subject, when she passed her Matric 2010 she decided to not go to University to study but to take a gap year in 2011 to pursue her passion for acting in the City of Gold Johannesburg.
She knew very well that it was not going to be easy to get into industry without any qualifications or enough experience in Performing Arts she then joined a casting agency were she got extra roles on most South African Soapies. She did that for about 4 months until she landed her first audition for Tshisa 3 in 2012 and got her first speaking role. Two months later she got another speaking role on Generations as Petunia. In 2013 she got her first leading role as Zola on InterSexions 2, she also appeared in Mzansi Magic Lokshin Bioscope Movie called "House Of Sangomas as Busisiwe. In 2014 she landed another supporting role as a dispensary nurse (Nurse Pulane) on Soul City 12 and her last project for 2014 was for a movie called Evlyn and Tapiwa were she played a 19 Year Old rural Xhosa girl. In 2015 she worked in one of the biggest Productions 'The Bomb Shelter', she got a role as a Nurse on Isibaya and she also played The Last Train on The Road. She also got a cameo role on uMlilo Season1 as The Real Khwezi and a leading role on season 7 of Ekasi Our Stories 'Sms Scam' as Sindi. In 2016 she worked with Goliath Productions playing a leading on one of their Mzansi Magic Lokshin Bioscope movies 'Izinqubo Esizenzayo' as Nomzamo. She also had another leading role on 'iNgempela' as Shadi, one of Mzansi's popular short stories on SABC 1.
